Great job Autie!!! I haven't been doing as much lately either. It seems I go thru spurts. I'll usually do a couple drugstore deals a week lately, but nothing crazy. I did do the Glade deal at Target...I got 10 candles! Going to post about it later tonight. My coupon box is pretty much set up exactly like yours, except I use an index card box. There are a couple categories I want to add and unfortunately not much room! So I made upgrade to a bigger box like yours. So glad you're feeling "invigorated"! Once you haven't done a deal for a while, it really is such a rush!!

Oh I know that feeling! This week we've been on a roll cleaning out some clutter that came from who-know-where! It is so gratifying to throw out the junk. As we were cleaning last night a sudden thought jumped into my mind. In about 6 months, this one-bedroom apartment is going to get MUCH smaller! Crib, changing table, dresser, swing, rocking chair..oh my!!

Don't you feel so powerless sometimes? Why can't I decide to change my mood and just change it? I think it's the "renewing of your mind" Paul talks about in Romans. We have to know God more, and want Him more, and when that's our consuming passion, it edges out our selfishness...makes no room for it. It's not an act of will. It's a total new way of thinking that thinks about God and his kingdom until there's no room for anything else. I think that's what I'm learning. Just keep my eyes on Jesus. That's where the victory over sin is.

I love the schedule! I had a daily schedule that I made to keep myself on track with various "chores" so I would not just come home from work and end up on the couch! I can't say that I follow it to perfection anymore, but I found it to be a helpful way to keep me accountable in my desire to be the Proverbs 31 wife...working or not. :) Great job!

I love it! You're inspiring me! I'm the same way...I love Mondays, because I'm full of energy, and it tends to be my most productive day! (=
I love your baking day idea, too. Very cool. Definitely tastier than packaged treats! It's funny... I find using fresh ingredients and cutting out packaged foods has REALLY emptied my cupboards and fridge. Which is nice. But a little scary sometimes when I look in for inspiration and see mostly bare shelves. (= But it makes me use what I have, which saves money by reducing waste.
I've recently begun a new arrangement of my days...I should post it sometime. It makes such a difference to have a plan.

How fun!! It looks beautiful! (= We just ate our first strawberry of the summer from our own patch the other night... lots more to follow soon, it looks like! But I think if I want to make jam we'll have to go picking at a strawberry patch, because I have a feeling we'll be eating all we get from our little pyramid. (=
